Montana Knife Company™ Blackfoot Blade 2.0 Kydex sheath comes with a quick attach belt hook. This belt loop can be put on your belt without removing or unclasping the belt. The knife can also be carried horizontally or vertically by simply removing two screws, adjusting the look, and reapplying the screws.

My Blackfoot came with the first gen sheath. Wanted this one for the increased mounting options this design allows for. While there is certainly nothing wrong with the original sheath this one seems more balanced when using the belt clips mounted to the spine side. Also like the ability to lash this with paracord if necessary. Fit and finish are excellent as always. Knife rides securely.

I wanted my Blackfoot Sheath to be a little more visible when I’m hunting so if I take it off my belt while dressing out an animal or for any other reason, it will be easy to spot. Fit is the same as all the other MKC Sheaths. Love the positive “Click” for retention.

For those of us who have felt the pain of losing a knife in the woods before, the idea of making your knife more visible is a good one. I don’t necessarily want a blaze orange knife, but a blaze orange sheath is perfect. If you don’t actually belt carry your knife, as long as you keep the sheath and knife together, this is a great way to make sure you don’t experience that sinking feeling of losing your blade in the wilderness.
