We believe our customers deserve the best possible experience in the field--and that means having a sharp, well-maintained, dependable knife ready for any task. That’s why we’re proud to offer our Generations® program.
Generations® is our promise to restore your knife to its original, unmatched working condition. MKC will clean, sharpen, repair, and even reshape your blades when necessary, as well as rewrap handles. Free of charge.

Common Generations Promise Questions
No. Whether you originally purchased your knife from MKC, received it as a gift, or won it off a grizzled old fur trapper in a game of poker… if it’s an MKC knife, it’s eligible for the Generations® program.
After we receive your knife, give us 2-3 business days (that’s right… days, not weeks) to service your knife. Then, we’ll cover the cost of return shipping.
We believe every MKC knife owner should have a foundational understanding of how to maintain and sharpen their own knife. These basic skills are essential for anyone spending a significant amount of time in the field. While we’re happy to service any of our knives, it’s not a substitute for regular, basic maintenance.
We’ve been guaranteeing the quality of our knives from the start, just like we believe every American company should. Our warranty covers small issues people have with the knives, which rarely happens. The Generations® program is all about sharpening and maintenance — not defects in craftsmanship. Every MKC knife is still covered under warranty. This goes several steps further.

I put this knife to work on my first archery bull. Although I am used to using replaceable blade knives I found myself using this knife on my bull and the blade held up better than expected. I absolutely love this knife. After use I shipped it off to MKC to have it sharpened. It was quickly sharpened and returned to me and I put it back to work on my wife’s bull she got during rifle season. MKC thank you for your quick service!!

So I broke the tip of my knife off, followed the instructions and sent it off. When I got it back I felt like I just got a new knife again. It was re wrapped and they repackaged it in an awesome box and wrap like it was brand new. The turn around was really fast awesome job guy I am super happy this product and craftsmanship. These knives knocked it out of the park for me. I combined 2 knives last year the knoc and the stoned goat for working up a nice Roosevelt elk I took in October then used the same 2 and elk skinner this year on another nice bull in September sent them off they got there in couple of days and were sharpened handels rewrapped and sent back in a day just in time for my next hunt Thanks again guys

I dropped my speedgoat on the tip, while skinning a mule deer. I sent it back to see if they could re shape the tip. I had the knife back in my hands in days and I was able to take and use it on my next hunt.
