After many requests we're excited to announce our newest way to store your MKC Culinary knives at home! The NEW MKC Culinary Magnetic Knife Block is built to give you the most space we've offered for displaying and storing blades on your counter so they're safe and nearby ready for use.

The MKC Culinary Magnetic Knife Block holds 13 total knives with slots in various sizes:

  • 2 Large Slots: Bighorn Chef / Smith River Santoku
  • 3 Medium Slots: Smith River Santoku / Meat Church Chef
  • 2 Small Slots: Boning / Breaking Butcher / Petty Chef / Flathead Fillet
  • 6 Extra Small Slots: Steak / Cutbank Paring Knife
  • Magnetic Sides for Cattlemen Cleaver or other MKC Blade

Crafted in the USA from rich black walnut hardwood, each block is heavy-duty, precision-made, and designed to last a lifetime in your kitchen.       The big knives leave parts of the blade exposed

      Great quality and craftsmanship just a small oversight

      Love the weight and general planning of blade variety of the block. It instantly replaced the non -MKC block to get the knifes off the wall hang we had setup. However the one thing that was an oversight is a small chamfer cut to accommodate the handle to seat fully into the block to fully enclose the blade. As it currently sits the knife handle bottoms out on the front edge of the block and does not allow the larger kitchen knifes to fully burry the undercut on the blade as such leaves about 1/4” of the blade exposed. Not a huge deal in my mind as I am not sticking my whole hand in the handle area to warrant a poke but none the less would have liked to not think about it either. 10/10 would but again and 9/10 would recommend with the one warning. Small wood working project with a plunge cut router would likely fix it and perfect it - just wish it had come that way for the price point is all.

      Man what a great chunk of wood, looks as good as it feels...quality craftsmanship and oh yeah it holds all my MKC knives perfectly ...just have to top off my collection with the steaks knives

      Goodbye, QVC. Hello, MKC.

      I waited a long time to finally get one of these, and it was soooo worth it.

      The craftsmanship is outstanding. The hardwood is beautifully finished, the magnets are incredibly strong, and it makes an impressive display for a quality knife collection. One of my favorite features is that the magnets are strong enough to securely hold larger blades like the MKC Cleaver—something most traditional knife blocks simply can't accommodate.

      As a bonus, I finally got to retire the QVC knife block we received as a wedding present 35 years ago. This is a huge upgrade in both function and appearance, and it looks fantastic on the countertop.

      If you've invested in MKC culinary knives, this is a fitting way to display them. I can't wait to finish filling it with MKC culinary knives.
