I’m historically terrible at sharpening blades. This does a better job than sharpening job I’ve paid to have done. Idiot proof to use and takes probably 2 minutes per blade. Highly recommend

I have tried many ways to sharpen my knifes over many years. Some were more successful than others but few gave me the factory sharpness I was wanting. And I seemed to work too hard for my best results. But then I bought the HORL 3 sharpener. Life just became a lot simpler. And my knives return to scalpel sharpness with a fraction of my previous effort. Enough said. You will not regret adding this to your gear! Period!

This seems like a solid design. However, it took a LOT more work to sharpen a knife than it should have. This may be why they geared the more expensive model to spin faster with same amount of work
