I've been looking for a packable knife but still having the durability and length to take on bigger task of breaking down an elk. In my opinion, this fits the job perfect. Also love the idea of having the extra grip on the handle from the Nock On design. I don't need to even talk about how sharp it is. Geez!

The way this knife feels in my hand makes me think I couldn’t drop it, almost even if I tried. Well balanced, a nice point for the intricate work. Just another beautiful MKC knife for the collection.

4.85 stars for this knife. The deduction is because I’d rather have it in a non-black finish.
The Triumph is aesthetically gorgeous, but its true beauty is in how amazingly comfortable and secure it feels in the hand.
The shape of the grips is such an ergonomic success, I had to start carrying this knife in place of several others I’ve been rotating, including a Blackfoot, a Rocker, a Flat Tail, and a Battle Goat, because it feels so good .
The Triumph pushes the envelope to just about its furthest edge in terms of size that’s good for pocket carry. But it’s SO worth exploring that edge, because this is truly a do-everything knife. Why stay in the mini range when you can have a knife this capable at the ready?
One thing I really like most about the Triumph is the drop at the heel of the blade. It’s shaped almost like a chef’s knife. Your hand grips the handle, and it can’t slide forward onto the blade because the tang is right there blocking it, just like a chef’s knife. Such an excellent design!
The photo I’ve attached shows the Triumph compared to the Battle Goat. The Triumph easily wins this battle!
