The Oberlin Pullover Puffy Jacket is what happens when you take everything we love about a classic insulated pullover and fix the one thing that's always been the issue: getting the damn thing on and off.

We added an extended zipper on the left side. No more getting stuck halfway through with your arms trapped above your head. No more static. No more questioning your life choices in a gas station parking lot. You zip, you're in. You zip, you're out.

We packed this puffy jacket with 800 gsm synthetic fill because when temperatures drop, halfway warm doesn't cut it. The kangaroo pocket is lined with ultra warm sherpa fleece for cold hands. Internal ribbing at the sleeve cuffs seals out the cold. Custom MKC snaps at the front. Dipped drawcords. Custom MKC PVC patches and printed liner throughout.

      I don’t usually write reviews, but this jacket absolutely deserves one.

      From the half-zip pullover design to the puffy, hoodie-like feel, everything about it just works. It’s insanely warm — honestly feels like walking around wrapped in an electric blanket, yet it’s still breathable and comfortable enough to wear all day. The durability is obvious the moment you put it on, and the style is effortless. I can throw it on with jeans or khakis and it looks great either way.

      It sounds funny to say, but my only regret is that winter doesn’t last longer so I could wear it more.

      Living in Minnesota for 48 years, I know what real cold feels like. This winter has been especially brutal, and even when it’s hovering around -10°, I can take my American bulldog out for a walk without a second thought. That level of warmth and reliability is hard to find.

      What makes this purchase even better is that I discovered it using AI while searching for a simple quarter-zip pullover, and somehow ended up with something far beyond what I expected. Zero complaints. Easily one of the best jackets I’ve ever owned, and honestly, it should be required gear for anyone who lives through serious winter weather.

      Huge appreciation to the team at MKC, keep doing what you’re doing, because this one is a knockout. I’ll be first in line when the next version drops.

      NEW GO-TO STAPLE

      This thing is perfect for a winter ruck or outdoor tailgate at a game. The side zip solves the main problem with other jackets (can't get them on or off). This is warm, flexible, and functional.
