COMPACT CRESCENT DESIGN

The Packout Skinner boasts a unique, half-moon skinning blade that maximizes cutting efficiency in a minimal footprint.

This knife is all belly, providing 3.5 inches of cutting edge packed into a 3-inch blade. The sweeping curve allows for long, clean strokes, making quick work of skinning. Cam wanted a compact package that could make quick work of his favorite game including, Blacktailed-deer, Whitetail, Mule deer, Elk or bears - and the Packout delivers. 

The Packout Skinner excels at fleshing out hides in the field, where its rounded tip minimizes the risk of puncturing. This knife may be small, but it's a powerhouse of skinning efficiency.

MAGNACUT STAINLESS STEEL

Made from premium MagnaCut stainless steel, the Packout Skinners's blade offers exceptional toughness, edge retention, and corrosion resistance.

At 110 thousandths thick, our stonewashed MagnaCut steel hits the sweet spot between hardness and toughness. It holds an edge through multiple animals but won't chip or break when you're deep in the backcountry.

ERGONOMIC G10 HANDLE

The Packout Skinner's handle is crafted from milled G-10, providing a secure, comfortable grip even in wet or cold conditions.

This knife is designed to feel like a natural extension of your hand. The handle features a palm swell that fills your grip, giving you complete control. The way the handle ramps down in the front allows for your index finger to be placed along the top of the blade, or you can reverse grip and put your thumb on top where it falls into the half moon shape perfectly.

Even with its compact size, the Packout Skinner offers a full, ergonomic grip that minimizes hand fatigue. It's designed to fit comfortably in large hands and while wearing gloves, ensuring you can work efficiently for hours on end. We’ve also added Cam’s signature red and black layered handle to the color choices.

The retention screw allows you to customize the blade tension and allow for handle-down carry.     Perfect skinner knife

    Extremely sharp , handle is very comfortable even with me having large hands, the blade design is great for getting up there in that chest cavity and removing the internals and really helps out removing the hide on any given animal. I used it recently on a hog guy killed in Texas. I am very happy with this purchase and it was well worth the weight for the knife to drop for purchasing. Don’t hesitate if you get the opportunity to purchase this knife, you won’t regret it.

    I finally pulled the trigger!

    I was on the fence about this knife because it was not like your ordinary knives… But when I finally decided to try it I was not disappointed! This thing is like an extension of your thumb! It is a perfect little skinner. I have always wanted a good skinner… Between this and the Beartooth.. I am set for my skinning needs!

    Packout Skinner

    Without the chance to use it yet, I’ll review my immediate thoughts. The knife is a rather compact well curved skinning knife. The handle is a bit small in my hand (I don’t have huge hands) but I don’t feel it will cause much issue. It’s extremely sharp. My primary use is backcountry archery elk hunting so the smaller knife is what I like for in my pack. I will review again after this fall.

    Pass down kind of knife.

    This is the kind of knife you pass down to your kids and grandkids. Everything about this knife feels top notch. And the leather sheath is super nice as well. I’m a fan. I already have another MKC knife on the way and will be buying more in the near future.
