STOCKYARD - BLACK

A funky little knife with a big blade. Blade, blade shape, and everything around the top part of the knife are fantastic. The handle... I don't know. It feels small. If I am trying to use all 5 fingers to hold it, it is WAY too small. BUT, if you are slicing, opening boxes, or just about anything else, and choke up on the knife, it is perfect. The 2 grooves for the fingers at the choil are fantastic. The grind on this knife is pretty great for EDC, not scary sharp like some of the other MKC knives I own, but it works great for everything I do.

I knew the Stockyard was going to be a must have when I saw the first release of it. I picked mine up on the second drop and I absolutely love it. I wanted it because of the sheep’s foot blade, but wondered if I would miss the sharp point. After carrying it for a month as my EDC I can absolutely say it’s a great all around knife and you can’t go wrong with it. Additionally, as an old school guy, I love leather and the leather sheath is fire 🔥. It looks amazing, build quality is superb, and the forward cant makes access super easy. Get this knife when you can. It’s unique and it’s amazing.

I discovered this company when they released the battle goat and missed out. They released the stockyard next and had to have it. The feel is amazing, the weight perfectly distributed, and it came razor sharp out of the box. The length and thickness of the blade is exactly what iy should be for its intended use as well. I have to say the packaging is some of the best packaging I have ever got with any purchase. The knives are very well priced, even if they seem expensive to begin with. They come with a kydex sheath and lifetime guarantee for sharpening and cleaning. Where else do you get this value and guarantee? I am waiting for the battle goat and steak knives to be restocked and I will be all over them. This business will have my loyalty when it comes to any knife purchase for a long time.
