At just under 9 inches from tip to tail, the Stubhorn might seem imposing at first glance, but trust us, it's a gentle giant.

We've put a full grind on the front to keep the weight down, so it's not as heavy as it looks. Tipping the scales at about 5.25 ounces, this blade sports a fine trailing point and a large belly, making it the perfect companion for any task.

Our Most Capable Handle

The Stubhorn's handle is where the magic really happens. Made from bulletproof G-10, it's thick, ultra-comfortable, and feels like shaking hands with an old friend from the moment you grip it.

The oversized safety guard at the front gives you peace of mind, while the near-cylindrical shape allows for multiple comfortable grips, no matter the size of your hand or the task at hand. Even after a long, chilly day in the field, this handle will feel like a warm handshake.

A Point That Means Business

With a surgical tip and a slight trailing point made from PVD Coated Magnacut Stainless Steel, the Stubhorn is reminiscent of a skinning knife, but is a true all-around hunting blade.

MKC places a premium on clean opening cuts, so incorporating a surgical cutting tip was a no-brainer. Beyond that, the Stubhorn maintains a clean, classic shape with no hard edges.

We've scalloped out the front of the blade so you can get a pinch grip when you need that extra control.

And because we know you'll want to keep this beauty close, we've added a lanyard hole at the back for paracord or leather, making it easy to hang on your person or around camp.

The sheath features a built-in retention screw to customize blade tension and allow for handle-down carrying. The Stubhorn sheath comes with a Kydex clip that allows you to carry your knife on a pack or belt loop, either horizontally or vertically.

    🦬 Premium knife

    I liked mine so much I got my old friend one.

    He was extremely appreciative, and told me he felt the knife was custom made for him. He also likes the bison, which I this blade is named after. Strap two to your head and they could look like bison horns :D

    The PVD, food safe coating, jimping, lanyard hole design, small/functional sharpening choil (not a stupid and large one you can get caught on things), finger guard, and pinch grip on the handle all make this knife a go-to and a keeper. I want to see more MKC knives with these features. All this, let alone the steel, handle quality, and sharpness (best of the best).

    One More for the Collection

    I can't say anything different than I've said before. Quality knives and products, this Stubhorn doesn't disappoint. Sharp OTB, great weight and balance to it, fits my hand well. As I write this im waiting for my Magnacut Speedgoat 2.0 to arrive today. Thanks again MKC customer service, products and delivery always awesome.

    MKC Stubhorn, there ain't nothing stubby about it!

    MKC Stubhorn

    When the MKC Stubhorn arrived, it signified the 11th adoption added to my MKC collection. Upon inspection of the MKC Stubhorn one cannot mistake the similarities with No. 10 MKC adoptee.

    The MKC Stubhorn has “We can go there, to hell and back, and we will make it back” written all over! The MKC Stubhorn is a stud of a knife! It is robustly built with a full tang design ending with a lanyard hole of a rectangular shape.

    The orange and black G-10 scales feel great in my hands, and they contrast quite nicely with the black PVD coating over the Magnacut steel blade, which has become my favorite knife steel

    Anything the MKC Whitetail knife can do, the MKC Stubhorn can do with aplomb!
