As our biggest, widest, thickest blade yet, the Marshall Bushcraft Knife is truly the boss of the MKC lineup. Unlike our smaller, lighter hunting knives, the Marshall is specifically designed for bushcraft.

Measuring 12 5/8″ from tip to end with a 0.170″ spine, it’s stout enough to chop and baton wood for fire and shelter, split kindling, pound tent stakes, dig holes, cut rope and cordage, dress game, prep food, and assist in self defense.

The Marshall takes its name from the Bob Marshall Wilderness Area in Western Montana, known for its breathtaking landscape and high numbers of grizzly bears, wolves, elk, moose, cougars, and goats. “The Bob” will challenge even the most seasoned hunters and adventurers, and the MKC Marshall Bushcraft is the ideal companion.

Parkerized 52100 Carbon Steel Blade

The Marshall is made from cryogenically treated 52100 high-carbon ball-bearing steel, achieving the perfect balance of edge retention, toughness, wear resistance, and easy resharpening.

The 6 7/8″ blade is parkerized to a matte black finish, which minimizes rust and glare.

Finger Guard and Groove

The built-in finger guard keeps your hand from riding up on the blade — even in cold, wet conditions.

The Marshall also features a finger groove above the guard, allowing you to choke up on the blade for added control when performing finer tasks.

The Marshall Bushcraft Knife features a black blade and an orange and black handle, resting on a firewood backdrop.
Flat-Sided G-10 Handle

We gave the Marshall’s 5″ handle flat sides, which are particularly useful for bushcraft tasks.

The flat sides allow your hand to lock in place to prevent twisting or turning when chopping. The Marshall’s handle scales are made from bullet-proof G-10 that can withstand any pounding or abuse and won’t absorb blood or moisture.

Hidden Lanyard Hole

For additional bushcraft safety, we’ve added a hidden lanyard hole on the bottom of the handle.

This allows you to attach the included paracord to form a wrist loop that protects yourself and others from accidental drops when chopping.

Exclusive MKC Kydex Sheath

Each Marshall Bushcraft comes with a USA made, custom MKC Kydex sheath.

The sheath features a built-in retention screw to customize blade tension and allow for handle-down carrying. The Marshall Bushcraft sheath comes with a Kydex clip allows you to carry your knife on a pack or belt loop, either horizontally or vertically.

Free Sharpening For Life & Beyond

Generations® is our promise to restore your knife to its original, unmatched working condition.

MKC will clean, sharpen, repair, and even reshape your blades when necessary, as well as rewrapping handles free of charge. While we perform all necessary sharpening and maintenance, our aim is not to return your knife to its brand new appearance. Learn more about MKC Generations Promise.

Who doesn’t love a bushcrafting knife

I’ve been in the market for a bushcraft knife for a long time and couldn’t be happier that I went with MKC verse some competitors. Absolutely love this beast of a knife and am looking forward to putting it to the test for many years ahead.

The Marshall - light for its size

The Marshall is a good sized camp knife for handling firewood chores. Light weight for its size and tough, keeping its edge.

    This is a knife.

If your looking for a knife that John Rambo and Mic Dundee would carry than look no further than the “Bob”. It may be big and beefy but it will do small tasks well. I split wood, carved feather sticks and it still passes through 550 cord like budda. If I could have one do it all knife from MKC it would be this one. I do have most of the rest though and love them all. They have replaced my ESEE’s as my EDC knives. If you need “a Knife”. This is it.

    Chopping broccoli!

And my lady, she went downtown

    She bought some ber-ra-ccoli

    She brought it ho-ome...

    She's chop'in broccoli

    Chop'in brocco-li

    Chop'in brocco-la

    Chop'in brocco-laa-aa

    She's chop'in brocco-lay!

    Chop'in brocco-lay!

    She's chop-uh!

    -

Boomer reference above, but seriously the Marshall has endured my childish chopping, cutting, slicing, beating, carving, and general torture I can put it through and still as sharp as the day I got it. Boxes, pallets, rope, plastic, tape, ties, beef ribs, chicken bones, staples, and even broccoli have tasted the Marshall's blade and lost.

The extra groove before the blade is genius,

especially for someone so choppy zealous.

Without it I would retain one less digit

To hold this masterpiece is glorious

    Hunter safety orange gleams lustrous

Truly defines hit it and quit it
