Most people say perfection is an illusion — an ideal or myth that can’t exist in reality. We say perfection is an 8 5/8″ drop point deer knife called The Whitetail.
After countless requests for a whitetail deer blade, we’ve finally done it. And we couldn’t be prouder. The 4-inch blade combines our classic drop point shape with more belly, allowing the Whitetail to skin, gut, bone out, and process meat with ease.

The Whitetail has quickly become one of our favorite blade designs to date. While it’s specifically designed for treestand and deer blind whitetail hunting, it can take on mule deer, elk, goats, bighorns, moose, and even bear… far above the woods.

As a cryogenically heat-treated stainless steel, MagnaCut provides the perfect blend of toughness, edge retention, and corrosion resistance.

    MKC Whitetail

    I am an avid outdoorsman that hunts everything from elk to small game.. My grandpa was a small town butcher. I grew up around knives and processing game at a young age. My grandpa taught me the value of a knife by its fit, form and function. Balance and a the ability to hold a razor sharp edge is everything. I got a great one with this last order. My true passion is bow hunting big whitetails in Iowa. I can’t wait to process my next big buck in the fall. Thanks MKC for making quality knives for hunters. I will hand it down to my son and hopefully it’ll go to my grandson after him.

    MKC White-tail

    I may have a problem and might need some intervention. This is my second MKC knife purchase in 3 months. I look a the several times a week fighting the urge to make another purchase. Thankful that on recent drop the Montana was sold out before I could get one. My problem is to the point that I am looking to plan a vacation trip to MT just to visit the MKC store, we'll to do other things

    The White-tail did not disappoint when it arrived. It was extremely sharp out the box both terms of looks and the blade. I am pleased with this knife and I am looking forward to putting it use this hunting season

    Great hunting knife !

    This knife fits perfectly in my hand and is nicely balanced. I purchased this knife, after hours of research on other knife brands, and selected this knife for an upcoming Colorado Elk archery hunt. It came with a razor edge and I can't wait to put it to work... hopefully! I'll update this review when I actually use it in the field. Note: I actually purchased two models , one for cutting and one for intricate skinning.
