I missed this knife on its first release, and waited patiently for the next release. Truly a knife I wanted solely for the style of knife it is. Feels very natural in the hand, very easy to hold. Only surprise was it’s the first knife I’ve bought from MKC that was dull when it arrived, but with the quality steel and a few minutes on a stone was shaving hair with the best of them.

Spending a career in the US Army I of course had seen this dagger 🗡️ during my time as the organization I belonged to drew lineage from the OSS. My Dad was an extra in the movie “The Devil’s Brigade,” which we watched frequently as a kid. I even have this style dagger on my skis!

Knife not sharp

I purchased the V24 and it was not sharp I sent it back through the generations program to have it sharpened and it was returned today..while it's more sharp than before it is still not impressive it has a hard time cutting paper and it will not shave the hair on my arm. For almost $500 I would expect a lot more. I have cheap knives that are way more sharp. I really like MKC but I do feel this knife is a lemon.
