The stout drop point blade shares the same proven geometry as MKC's ultra-light Speedgoat models. But this one brings the premium edge retention and corrosion resistance of Magnacut stainless tool steel to the party. It's an uncompromising blade material that brushes off the toughest abuse a defensive blade may face.

LOW-DRAG CERAKOTE FINISH ELIMINATES REFLECTIONS

A low-visibility Cerakote finish eliminates any chance of giving up your position with light reflections. This ultra-flat, non-reflective coating also helps the Wargoat avoid snagging on clothes during lightning-fast deployment from under a jacket or pack.

LOW-PROFILE RING HANDLE ENABLES SECURE REVERSE GRIP

The defining trait of the Wargoat is its distinctive ring handle. More than just eye-catching, this ring locks the blade into a can't-fail reverse grip when deployed. Your hand is automatically guided into the perfect position for applying maximum percussive force while preventing dislodging - even when slick during wet work.

DEEP FINGER CHOIL FOR COMPLETE EDGE CONTROL

Whether delicately slicing thin materials or unleashing full-force blows, the Wargoat's deep finger choil lets you choke up for incredible edge control. This protective choil helps prevent fingers from sliding onto the razor-sharp cutting edge during intense engagement.

SKELETONIZED GRIP MAXIMIZES STRENGTH WHILE MINIMIZING WEIGHT

Despite its stout physique, the Wargoat's skeletonized grip design pares weight to an absolute minimum. Every gram was scrutinized and whittled away to keep this last-ditch defensive blade as compact and lightweight as possible without sacrificing an ounce of strength.

CUSTOM KYDEX SHEATH WITH MULTI-CARRY OPTIONS

Each Wargoat comes with a custom-molded MKC Ulticlip sheath.

A custom-molded Kydex sheath provides secure, durable carry of the Wargoat in even the most demanding scenarios. The sheath can be worn vertically or horizontally and offers multi-position retention adjustments to dial in the perfect draw every time.

    MKC Tactical Perfection

    I really like this knife. It is easy to draw, feels light and compact in the hand but also very stable because of the loop. I wish the handle was a little bit larger so it felt a little more substantial in the hand but for what it is and what it's capable of it was designed how it was supposed to be. Nice thick blade, sharp out of the box as always. Thank you

    Wargoat isn’t just a Tactical Tool!

    I am no where near a “tactical” guy. I bought this for the excellent lightweight and extremely useful blade design. I had never had a “ring” on any of my knives, but I can definitely say it’s a perfect balance between not wanting a lanyard but still want a really accessible EDC knife. I absolutely love mine! The fit, finish and ergonomics are typical of MKC which is to say that they are outstanding!

    Warning: You’ll Start Looking for Reasons to Carry It

    The MKC Wargoat in Coyote/Black is one of the most purpose-built fixed blades I’ve handled in a long time. The MagnaCut steel holds an incredible edge while still being easy enough to maintain, and the Cerakote finish gives it a clean, low-profile look that feels right at home in both tactical and outdoor use. The ring handle looked aggressive at first, but after carrying and using it, the retention and control make total sense.

    What impressed me most is how lightweight and compact it feels without sacrificing strength. The G10 scales provide excellent grip, and the knife disappears on the belt with the Kydex sheath. Deployment is fast, secure, and intuitive.

    This isn’t just a “cool-looking” knife — it’s a genuinely functional tool with thoughtful design behind it. Whether you’re into EDC, field carry, training, or just appreciate high-end American-made blades, the Wargoat absolutely delivers. MKC nailed the balance between rugged performance and refined craftsmanship. Easily one of my favorite fixed blades in my collection.
