In 2026, we’re coming out swinging with one of the most advanced and technical pieces of MKC Apparel to date.

The “Whitefish” Waxed Canvas Puffy Jacket is a completely original MKC creation, born out of pure Montana necessity. We live in puffy jackets for eight months out of the year, but traditional puffy jackets simply are not built to last. Most make it through one season before they are ripped apart, falling to pieces, and leaking goose feathers.

So we decided to roll the dice and build the most durable puffy jacket possible. One that delivers the warmth and insulation of a puffy jacket combined with the rugged, hard-use durability of a traditional waxed canvas work jacket.

      Awesome Jacket

      I’m 5’11” 195 lbs and the large fits me great. This thing feels super durable and extremely well made. If you like to layer heavy underneath I’d recommend going up a size but I had plenty of room for a light hoodie or flannel in the large with no constriction anywhere. It fits exactly how I would want a jacket to fit, plenty of room with zero slop.

      Shaped like the liberty bell

      This jacket is shaped like the Liberty Bell. Super wide at the bottom and flares out wildly. It's also fairly short, especially for how wide it is. Maybe good if you have the world's biggest fupa or potbelly.

      I was very excited for this jacket and spent more than I wanted to.

      The material is great.

      I wish I could have it tailored or something but I'm not going to spend more.

      Jacket seems good enough quality, but disappointed it's made in China. Yeah I get it but the reason I have purchased a lot of MKC stuff is to support a company that seems to keep stuff in the states.

      Super warm jacket!!

      MKC really knocked it out of the park when they created this jacket. It's stylish, built to last and it's packed with warmth!! You don't need to layer if you're wearing this cause you'll be sweating before you step outside. This jacket really is a game changer. Don't hesitate to buy one or two if you want a very warm, reliable and great looking jacket! I couldn't decide which color I wanted so I chose to buy both!

      Love waxed canvas!!!

      Nailed it! This thing is nice. The fit is spot on and feels quality. I have worn it everywhere from the chicken coop to date night. It's also surprisingly warm as it blocks wind VERY well. I'm never disappointed with your products. Keep up the good work guys!!!
