The MKC Traditions Knives showcase handles crafted from desert ironwood, a material celebrated for its hard, closed grain that repels oil, blood, and water. This ensures the handle stays clean, stable, and free from warping or cracking. We’ve outfitted three of our models – the Rocker, the Packout Skinner, and the MKC Elk Knife – with these exceptional handles, each paired with a custom sheath from Francesca at Teton Leather.
