Most people say perfection is an illusion — an ideal or myth that can’t exist in reality. We say perfection is an 8 5/8″ drop point deer knife called The Whitetail.
After countless requests for a whitetail deer blade, we’ve finally done it. And we couldn’t be prouder. The 4-inch blade combines our classic drop point shape with more belly, allowing the Whitetail to skin, gut, bone out, and process meat with ease.

The Whitetail has quickly become one of our favorite blade designs to date. While it’s specifically designed for treestand and deer blind whitetail hunting, it can take on mule deer, elk, goats, bighorns, moose, and even bear… far above the woods.

At 8 5/8″ overall, the Whitetail is maneuverable when dressing deer in tight spaces yet substantial enough for larger game. 

The 4″ blade also gives you added control when gutting, reducing the chances of unwanted punctures. It’s all the blade you’ll ever need.
Updated Drop Point

With more belly than a classic drop point, the Whitetail skins like a dream. 

There’s enough tip to handle detailed tasks like caping while retaining enough point strength for rugged utility.
Secure Grip

The integrated guard provides added safety and control for skinning and detail work, ensuring fingers don’t ride up onto the blade. 

Textured jimping along the spine offers added traction for your thumb when applying pressure.

PVD Coated MagnaCut Steel

We finished the premium MagnaCut steel in a low-glare PVD coating that lessens wear and improves scratch-resistance.

As a cryogenically heat-treated stainless steel, MagnaCut provides the perfect blend of toughness, edge retention, and corrosion resistance. Unlike other stainless steel blades, MagnaCut can be easily resharpened — even by novice knife owners.

More wear-resistant than other stainless steels, and more corrosion-resistant than carbon steel, MagnaCut is in a class of its own.

    Very sharp, very nice

    Wanted to wait until I got to use it for WV's rifle season this year. Only got to use it on one buck since the deer weren't moving much, but it was very sharp right out of the box. I'm not exactly a knife expert by any means, but it felt pretty easy to control. Glad I set a timer for the last drop of these since they sold out in minutes. It's an awesome knife.

    I love this knife

    I got this on the last drop and since it has gutted, skinned, and broken down 4 whitetails. I touched it up on the steel once and it is still going strong! As far as size and 'feel' it is far and away the favorite knife I've ever owned! If they drop again before Christmas I am going to buy another as a gift for my father.

    PVD whitetail

    I haven't had a chance to use it on a deer yet but it comes out of the box hair popping sharp. The handle fits my hand just right and the jimping feels really good on your thumb when your bear down.
